Job summary
St. Luke's Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Patient Care Technician under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCT provides non-licensed patient care in accordance with Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies, promoting teamwork and compassionate service to patients and families.
Education requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent. To qualify, you must hold a current CNA license, be a nursing student who has completed fundamentals within 90 days, a PCT/NA/EMT/Surgical Tech
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- CNA licensure or nursing student with completion of nursing fundamentals course within 90 days of employment.
- Previous documented work experience as a PCT, Nurse Assistant, EMT or Surgical Tech within the last 3 years.
- Successful completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel program within the last 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, perform non-licensed patient care in accordance with Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies.
- Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
- Perform duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke's mission and values.
