Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Patient Care Technician to perform non-licensed patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

You will promote teamwork with all healthcare team members and perform duties aligned with our mission and values. Qualifications include a high school diploma, active CNA licensure, nursing student status with fundamentals coursework, and relevant PCT/EMT/Surgical Tech experience within the last 3 years, plus completion of an Unlicensed Assistive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current state licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)
• Nursing student with completion of nursing fundamentals course within 90 days of employment
• Previous documented work experience as a PCT, Nurse Assistant, EMT or Surgical Tech within the last 3 years
• Successful completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel program within the last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, the Patient Care Technician is responsible for performing non-licensed patient care in accordance with established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies.
• Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.
• Perform duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
