Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Works under close supervision of a licensed nurse and performs basic patient care activities.
• Operates medical equipment safely (BP machines, cardiac monitors, glucometers, etc.).
• Collects and transports patient specimens for laboratory analysis as directed.
• Assists patients with basic care needs and basic hygiene.
• Obtains EKG readings and communicates with providers.
• Provides one on one safety monitoring for behavioral health patients.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
