Qualifications

• Graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• National certification options for PCT at various boards (NAPH, NCCT, NHA).
• Equivalent certification or education acceptable if it meets function and level.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living as delegated by the licensed nurse.
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free, and clean environment to support patient care.

Education

Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level, or equivalent educ/experience

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
