Mercy is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Under the direction of the RN or LPN, you assist in individualized care and work as part of a collaborative team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CNA/CPCT enrollment or coworker status; BLS within one month and PCT competencies within three months. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and training opportunities for growth.

Formación

• High school diploma, G.E.D., CNA/CPCT or enrolled in a healthcare program.
• Experience: None required.
• BLS required within one month of hire; complete PCT competencies within 3 months.
• Minimum physical requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the individualized care of patients under RN/LPN direction.
• Perform designated clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks.
• Work cooperatively with the healthcare team to meet patient goals.
• Adhere to safety and infection control practices on every shift.
