Patient Care Technician/ CNA- 7 North (Inpatient Medical Oncology)

Description

• Assist RNs and LPNs with meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents
• Participate in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to patient status updates
• Provide complete personal care for patients
• Take and record vital signs accurately
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge, ensuring comfort and safety
• Respond promptly to patients' needs
• Respond promptly to family members' needs
• Complete housekeeping tasks such as utility rooms and diet kitchen as needed
• Assist with ADLs: personal care, feeding, bathing, dressing
• Support patients and family members

Experience/Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting preferred
• CNA certification preferred but not required
