Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support a patient population across the care continuum. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to deliver direct and indirect care, ensuring patient safety, comfort and satisfaction.

Position emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and adherence to care plans, with responsibilities spanning from admissions to discharge and continuous quality improvement activities. Competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of one of: CNA, Medical Assistant or PCT program; or Fundamentals of Nursing; or HMH PCT Apprenticeship Program.
• Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing patient needs, and work with a team to improve patient outcomes.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care based on age, safety and education needs.
• Communicate with RN and healthcare team about patient status and care.
• Assist with assessment, admission, procedures, and patient comfort.
