Qualifications

• Required education credentials include a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a PCT/CNA/MA/EMT related program or equivalent experience.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age-appropriate criteria.
• Ensure safe outcomes through practice, judgment and actions.
• Communicate with patients and care team about status.
• Show initiative to improve performance and opportunities.
• Collaborate in plan of care from admission to discharge.

Completion of one of the following: - Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician program or - Fundamentals of Nursing program from an accredited school of nursing or - HMH PCT Apprenticeship Program - Or equivalent medical background experience, such as EMT, Home Health Aide, CMA, MA, PCT, Nursing Assistant.
