Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to assist with direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. The role focuses on patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction, while supporting interdisciplinary teamwork and care transitions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age and criteria under RN supervision.
• Document vital signs and notify RN of abnormal findings promptly.
• Collect specimens, perform venipuncture and draw blood as directed.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, mobility and patient comfort.
• Support safety initiatives and participate in interdisciplinary team care.
