Salary: $19.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
- 0-25% Travel Requirement.
- Take patient history and vital signs.
- Perform basic testing or screenings (vision, audio, urine drug screens, breath alcohol, EKGs, pulmonary function testing).
- Perform phlebotomy for lab samples.
- Complete paperwork/computer work for lab tests.
- Perform point-of-care testing (strep, mono, glucose, influenza, pregnancy, urinalysis).
- Maintain sterile technique and sterilization procedures.
- Coordinate records for ancillary care.
- Assist providers with exams and testing.
- Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Ensure equipment functionality.
- Log procedures and process paperwork.
- Maintain examination rooms and supplies.
- Manage patient flow and registration duties.
- Explain insurance options and pricing to patients.
- Document patient history, exams, and procedures thoroughly.
- Assist with tasks to improve provider efficiency.
- Greet and register patients, answer calls, and take payments.
- Handle reports, cleaning, and other front desk responsibilities.
Minimum Education and Experience
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Follow written instructions and work standards.
- Establish effective relationships with staff, patients, and families.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Computer skills, including EMR and patient registration.
- Up-to-date on injections and CPR certification.
- Strong communication and detail-oriented skills.
- Team player with friendly, customer service-oriented attitude.
