Joining DaVita as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) offers an exciting opportunity to start your career in healthcare. With paid, extensive training, you will develop skills to care for patients and connect with healthcare professionals.

What We Provide:

3. Schedule: Typically 10-12 hour shifts, 3-4 days/week, Monday to Saturday. No Sundays or overnight shifts.

5. Long-term Patient Relationships: Care for patients with end-stage renal disease receiving dialysis 3 times a week.
6. Fast-paced Environment: Conduct observations, measure stats, set up machines, work with your head, heart, and hands.

What You Can Expect:

1. Direct Patient Care: Provide safe, comfortable dialysis treatment.
2. Technician Duties: Monitor patients, record stats, set up machines, exposure to blood and needles.
3. Continuous Improvement: Improve processes for patients and teammates.
4. Teamwork: Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership. Work under nurse supervision.

Requirements:

1. Desire to enter healthcare.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Comfort around blood and needles.
4. Ability to work long hours (some shifts 12+ hours), on your feet.
5. Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics.
6. Flexibility on clinic placement, potential to float between clinics.
7. Healthcare certifications (BONENT, CHT, CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy) are a plus.
