Job summary

USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated Patient Care Tech to join our team. The position supports direct patient care in a 25-bed facility with 8 OR rooms and 3 ER rooms, assisting RNs and providing compassionate care.

The CNA will stock bedside areas, help with walking and dressing patients, answer call lights, and transport patients at discharge. A comprehensive benefits package supports staff in a surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant credential required.
• At least 1 year of relevant patient-care experience.
• Knowledge of patient care charts and patient histories.
• Strong patient interviewing skills.
• Ability to perform standard clinical procedures per established protocols.
• Knowledge of patient evaluation procedures.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and support surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Stock Recovery Room bedsides and prepare linen bags.
• Dress patients, assist with mobility and bathroom needs.
• Answer call lights and phones; assist RNs as needed.
• Transport patients to vehicles upon discharge.
• Monitor food supply levels and stock nourishment areas.
• Report food-order needs and assist with bedside area cleaning.

USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated Patient Care Tech to join our team. We have 25 Beds and 8 OR rooms and 3 ER Rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedic, Spine.

Job Summary: The CNA duties will include stocking Recovery Room bedsides, dressing patients, walking patients, assisting patients to the bathroom, answering call lights, answering phones and, assisting RN's as needed. This roll will include transporting patients into the vehicles once they are discharged, Screening Questionnaires, cleaning/making beds, wiping down bedside areas, preparing linen bags if needed, monitor food supply level, stocking nourishment area and reporting when food is needed to be ordered.
