DaVita is looking for a Patient Care Tech to serve our patients at our Larpenteur Ave Dialysis Center in Roseville, MN.

We will train you!

Position Details:

• PCTs usually work 10-12 hour shifts / 3-4 days a week (including every other Saturday, closed on Sundays!). Our clinics open as early as 3:30am and close as late as 8pm. Teammates are required to have availability to open and close.
• Hours of work may vary; typically between 32-40 hours per week.
• You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Paid training: DaVita offers a comprehensive, paid training program combining classroom and hands-on learning.
• Reimbursement for your Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license.
• Opportunities for career advancement through our Clinical Ladders program.
• Training may occur in a facility or training clinic, possibly with a different group of new teammates than your assigned clinic.

What you can expect:

• Direct Patient Care: Providing safe, comfortable dialysis treatment, caring for up to 4 patients at a time.
• Technician Duties: Monitoring patients, recording stats, observing patient conditions, machine setup. Exposure to blood and needles is involved.
• Continuous Improvement: We seek to enhance our processes for patients and teammates.
• Building Relationships: Developing long-term connections with patients suffering from end-stage renal disease.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers, under RN supervision.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Comfort working around blood and needles.
• Ability to mix acid or bicarb, including heavy lifting.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical and mental stamina for long hours on your feet.
• Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics.
• Healthcare experience or certifications preferred but not required.
