Job summary

DaVita in Durham, NC is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in outpatient dialysis clinics. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, comfort with blood and needles, physical stamina for long shifts, and flexibility to float between local clinics.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities
