Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic in Austin, TX. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Responsibilities include delivering safe dialysis, monitoring patients, setting up equipment, recording vitals, educating patients on treatment and kidney health, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Able to stand for long periods and work long shifts.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.
