Job summary

Norman Regional is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide basic patient care, maintain a safe and clean environment, and support the nursing team. The role includes taking vital signs, recording data, and passing information to the patient's nurse to ensure quality care.

You will also assist with clerical reception duties and department coordination, performing additional department-specific tasks as required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required, CNA certification or 6 months NA experience.
• Six months recent experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and routine treatments.
• Take and record vital signs and relay to the nurse.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean environment.
• Provide clerical receptionist support and coordinating assistance.
• Perform additional duties as needed by the department.
