Job summary

Norman Regional Health System in Oklahoma seeks a Regular Full Time Nursing Assistant for the Ortho floor (32 beds). You will provide basic patient care, help maintain a safe, clean environment, and support nurses during your shift.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, CNA certification or 6 months CNA experience, and current BLS certification. Day shift, with evening, night and weekend differentials as listed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• CNA certification or 6 months CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic patient care
• Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Takes and records vital signs and relays to nurse
• Provides general nursing care and routine treatments/procedures
• Facilitates processing of patients
• Provides clerical receptionist support
• Provides coordinating support
• Performs additional duties related to department needs
