Responsibilities

• Collects and records routine patient data to ensure accuracy of patient charts.
• Performs basic patient care activities to support comfort and safety.
• Identifies unusual findings and reports to healthcare staff for timely intervention.
• Maintains inventory of stock items and assists with chart upkeep.
• Participates in in-service programs and daily care rounds to understand care plan changes.
• Greets patients and families, answers calls, and orients them to unit policies.
• Assembles charts for new admissions and enters admission data to ensure timely records.
• Transfers charts and updates chart locator databases to ensure accurate information.
