Job summary

Premier Health is hiring a Patient Care Tech/HUC for the Medical IP Unit. You will work with nurses and doctors, perform vitals checks, help patients move and eat, collect samples, and report changes to the nurse to ensure quality care.

Education: high school diploma or GED. Training: obtain a BLS CPR certificate. Experience: no prior job experience required, some hospital exposure is a plus. Shift: 7AM–7:30PM, 36 hours per week, 72 hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED requirement.
• BLS CPR certificate required or available at orientation.

Responsibilities

• Check temperature, heartbeat, and breathing.
• Help patients move, dress, and eat.
• Collect samples like urine.
• Report changes in a patient’s condition to a nurse.
• Assist with patient walks, hygiene, and vitals.
