Job summary

SCA Health in Tinley Park, Illinois, seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our on-site care team. You will support daily patient care activities, ensure safety, and help maintain efficient center operations while aligning with our patient-centered mission.

The ideal candidate is a High School graduate with CMA/CNA/PCT preferred, knowledge of medical terminology, and BLS certification or within 90 days of employment. Competitive pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Protecting the patient from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources
• Demonstrating safe operation of equipment machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation
• Adhering to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment
• Proactively optimizes opportunities to enhance flow and efficiency of the center
