Job summary

SCA Health in Weatherford, TX is actively hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT). The role supports patient safety, assists with routine care and equipment, and contributes to a smooth flow in our ambulatory center.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, preferred MA/CNA/PCT certification, and completion of BLS within 90 days. Knowledge of medical terminology is expected; pay ranges from $17.50 to $25.25 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

We are actively hiring for an Patient Care Technician (PCT).

Patient Care Technician (PCT) Responsibilities:

• Protecting the patient from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources


• Demonstrating safe operation of equipment machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation


• Adhering to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment


• P roactively optimizes opportunities to enhance flow and efficiency of the center

Qualifications

Patient Care Technician (PCT) Requirements:

• High School Gra duate or equivalent.


• Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistan t (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred.


• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.


• Knowledge of medical terminology.
