SCA Health in Weatherford, TX is actively hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to assist with patient care and support clinical staff in a busy ambulatory setting.

The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma, BLS certification within 90 days, and may have MA/CNA/PCT credentials; knowledge of medical terminology is essential. Competitive benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 401k with company match, PTO, life and disability insurance.

Qualifications

Patient Care Technician (PCT) Responsibilities:

• Protecting the patient from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources


• Demonstrating safe operation of equipment machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation


• Adhering to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment


• P roactively optimizes opportunities to enhance flow and efficiency of the center

Qualifications

Patient Care Technician (PCT) Requirements:

• High School Gra duate or equivalent.


• Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistan t (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred.


• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.


• Knowledge of medical terminology.
