Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a dedicated RN student assistant (CNA track) in Decatur, IL. Under a registered nurse, you will perform a variety of care tasks and support the unit, delivering age-appropriate care and documenting observations.

This on-site role requires enrollment in nursing school, a current CNA certification or on-track, and at least two years’ relevant experience in nursing assisting. PTO and wellness benefits are included.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required or obtained during onboarding.
• Enrollment in nursing school with one semester of clinicals completed.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience performing the essential responsibilities of the nursing assistant role.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the registered nurse, perform a variety of tasks to assist in patient care.
• Provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
• Report and record observations to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to the efficient functioning of the unit following established policies and guidelines.

Pay Transparency

$16.77 - $25.99. Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
