Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, part of Premier Health Partners, seeks a Patient Care Technician to support the Observation Unit under RN/LPN supervision during the 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift.
You will assist with direct patient care, monitor vitals, and perform assigned tasks. A high school diploma or GED is required; orientation may provide BLS CPR certification, as needed.

The Patient Care Technician is employed by Miami Valley Hospital to enhance the nature and quality of patient care through a relationship with a Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse. The Patient Care Technician assists the RN/LPN by performing assigned tasks for which he/she is trained, facilitating direct care and the nursing process.
Education: You'll need a high school diploma or GED.
Training: You'll need to get a BLS CPR certificate. If you don’t already have it, they can teach you how to do CPR at your orientation, too (so you don't need to do it beforehand).
