Job summary

Abrazo Central Hospital in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to provide individualized patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with routine tasks, participate in shift and bedside reports, and support regional and unit initiatives.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED or CNA/PCA certificate, CPR certification, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and health care team members.
• Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic/sterile technique and infection control best practices.
• CPR certification required.

Job Summary

Assists the professional or licensed nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills.Participates in shift and bedside report. Participates and supports regional, facility, department, and unit initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education:

• Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience: One year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care setting.
  • Certifications/Licensure:CNA/LNA from the Arizona State Board of Nursing
