Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor seeks a Patient Care Tech for the 10 East Older Adult/Stroke Unit. You will support direct patient care under a registered nurse, helping with ADLs and maintaining a safe, patient-centered environment.

Shifts available include early, afternoon, and night options. Full-time and part-time roles with every-other-weekend requirements offer comprehensive benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required for eligibility.
• At least one year of direct care experience or completion of a CENA/PCT/MA/EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class.

Responsibilities

• Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, toileting, mobility and feeding.
• Collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures; manage IV catheter procedures.
• Care for patients in a progressive care unit with diagnoses like renal and stroke, including EEG monitoring.
• Unit currently houses COVID-19 patients.
