Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Technician - Observation Unit to support the care team at our Elmhurst Main Hospital Campus. The role runs 24 hours per week, from 7:00am to 7:30pm, with every 3rd weekend and holiday track.

The role requires CPR certification, nursing assistant training or equivalent experience, and strong interpersonal skills. No travel is required; benefits are included for eligible positions.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
• Successful completion of care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, ability to prioritize, ability to receive and follow through on directions.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks and procedures necessary to provide care, comfort and safety under the directions of an RN and established procedures.
