Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support licensed nurses in delivering patient care and meeting family needs. The role follows the care plan and adapts to patient age and development.

Work at Baylor All Saints Medical Center Fort Worth with night shifts (full-time nights). You will collect patient data, monitor vitals, assist with ADLs, and help with admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient data; monitor vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Answer call lights and complete patient rounds.
• Maintain and complete admission, transfer and discharge paperwork.
• Provide patient personal hygiene and assist with patient cleanup.
• Comply with Baylor Scott & White policies and procedures.

Shift/Schedule: Full-Time Nights, 3 twelve hour shifts per week, rotating weekends

Essential Functions Of The Role

• Collect and record patient data, record vital signs and help patients with activities of daily living (ADL).

• Help with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
• Take care of patient personal hygiene and help with patient clean up.
