Job summary

The Patient Care Technician at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, Ft Worth, works under a licensed nurse to deliver patient care, monitor basic needs, and support families. The role aligns with care plans and age-appropriate needs in a fast-paced hospital setting.

For this full-time days position, you will work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends, and participate in training and teamwork to ensure exceptional patient experiences and safety.

Qualifications

• Education - HS Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Experience - Less than 1 Year of Experience

Responsibilities

• Collect and record patient data, record vital signs and help patients with activities of daily living (ADL).
• Answer call lights and complete patient rounds.
• Help with completing/maintaining files and forms for admission, transfer, and discharges.
• Take care of patient personal hygiene and help with patient clean up.
• Comply with Baylor Scott and White policies and procedures.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician performs various duties under a licensed nurse's supervision. Helps deliver patient care and meet family needs. Follows the care plan, considering the patient's age and development stage.

QUALIFICATIONS

• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION

• Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
