Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) seeks a Patient Care Tech to join a multidisciplinary team delivering direct patient care under an RN. The role emphasizes safety, crisis response, and compassionate support for behavioral health patients in Arizona.

The PCT works in person or telephonically, assisting with treatment plans and ensuring a safe environment while coordinating with supervisors and program managers.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

• Provide direct patient care under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Maintain safety of the unit and identify safety concerns, elevating them as needed.
• Support the treatment team in behavioral health and crisis situations.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team that provides direct care to behavioral health patients working under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) in person or telephonic. The primary focus is direct patient care as directed and delegated by the RN, Lead PCT, Operation Supervisor, Operations Administrator, or Program Manager. The PCT is also responsible for the safety of the unit they are assigned to, including identifying environmental and patient specific safety concerns, and elevating those concerns to the RN, RN Manager, Operations Supervisor, or designee as needed.

Skills/Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
