Job summary

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join a multidisciplinary team delivering direct care to behavioral health patients under RN supervision in Arizona. The PCT focuses on patient care and safety, escalating concerns as needed while supporting therapeutic interventions.

Required is a high school diploma or GED with preference for an associate degree. At least 6 months of healthcare experience and recovery from substance use or mental health disorders are

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of health care experience with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• Minimum 6 months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure safety of the unit and address environmental and patient safety concerns with appropriate escalation.
• Support patients in crisis and assist with care plans as directed by the RN, Lead PCT, or Operations leadership.

Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) is a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team that provides direct care to behavioral health patients working under the medical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) in person or telephonic. The primary focus is direct patient care as directed and delegated by the RN, Lead PCT, Operation Supervisor, Operations Administrator, or Program Manager. The PCT is also responsible for the safety of the unit they are assigned to, including identifying environmental and patient specific safety concerns, and elevating those concerns to the RN, RN Manager, Operations Supervisor, or designee as needed.

Skills/Requirements

• Highschool diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of health care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations.
• Minimum of six months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders preferred.
