Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support our NICU/Nursery care team. You will assist with vital signs, mobility, personal care and help nurses monitor patients, contributing to a safe and compassionate environment.

Join a dedicated team at a 895+ bed facility known for advanced care. This full-time role includes day shifts from 7AM to 7PM, emphasizing teamwork, communication, and patient comfort as we work to improve lives every day.

Qualifications

• BLS/CPR within 30 days of start date.
• CNA or PCT certification preferred.
• 1+ year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and assistive device use.
• Keep patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
