Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent requirement.
• CNA/CMA/EMT or nursing student with clinical completed.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic nursing care activities under RN supervision, including vital signs and glucose checks.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff promptly.
• Keeps patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Demonstrates flexibility and multi-tasking in a busy unit.
• Prioritizes unit tasks using critical thinking and changing needs.
• Serves as liaison between patient care units and other departments.
• Answers calls, intercoms, and relays information to staff/family/patients.
• Manages unit workflow with charge RN or manager as needed.
• Performs pre Census tasks and validates admission/discharge/census lists.
