Job summary

Medical City Frisco is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support registered nurses and provide compassionate, hands‑on care to patients in a fast‑paced Med/Surg unit. You will assist with daily needs, monitor vitals, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all patients and families.

You will contribute to care plans, maintain infection control practices, and collaborate with the nursing team to restore comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non‑medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Maintain clean, organized patient areas and stock rooms to ensure safety.
• Support infection control by managing supplies, equipment and logs.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and the care team to ensure safety and quality.
