Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for Med Surg on the Night shift. You will support nursing staff by providing basic patient care in a fast-paced unit and maintain a safe, clean environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent; 1 year of experience preferred. THR-approved PCT programs or related credentials are accepted, with BCLS and CPI training required. Nursing students with Fundamentals training may qualify.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT, or THR approved program. Not required to maintain certification after hire.
• EMT training or military medical experience acceptable.
• Nursing students who completed fundamentals may be considered.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic patient care under nursing supervision.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Transfer or transport patients as needed.
• Enter orders into computer or manual systems when applicable.
• Document patient information accurately.
• Adapt care to patient population and obey cultural/religious needs.
