Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) for the Med Surg unit on a full-time days schedule. You will provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and support a fast-paced but collaborative team environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and BCLS certification, with CPI training within 90 days of hire. A CNA/PCT program and prior Med Surg experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of Med Surg PCT experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days upon hire required.
• BCLS required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff.
• Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients and changing linens.
• May transfer or transport patients.
• Enter orders into computer or manual system if applicable and document accurately.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to adapt care to patient needs and population.
