Job summary

TriStar Summit Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Care Technician to join our nursing team in Nashville. You will provide hands-on patient care, assist with procedures, and mentor PCT staff to support growth and quality of care.

You will ensure compassionate, patient-centered care, coordinate with the nursing team, and help maintain a safe, efficient clinical environment in a Level III trauma center setting.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs and mobility; monitor vital signs and telemetry.
• Document patient care and communicate updates to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and infection prevention practices.
• Respond to patient needs with regular rounds and compassionate communication.
• Train new team members and share policy updates.
