Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a full-time patient care support role to assist nursing staff with patient care and comfort. The position includes nights and requires compassionate service.

Responsibilities include hygiene support, vital signs, meal service, and basic supply handling. Certifications such as BLS and CPI are noted as needed within onboarding timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 6-month acute care or previous clinical experience.
• Completion of a nursing assistant program; BLS and CPI certifications may be required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing service personnel with patient care activities and comfort measures.
• Take vital signs and assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Serve and collect food trays, provide between-meal nourishment, and manage supplies.
• Clean, sterilize, store, and prepare patient care supplies as needed.
