Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence East Campus in El Paso, TX is seeking a Patient Care Tech II to join our night shift team on a per diem basis. You will support nursing staff with patient comfort, hygiene, vital signs, and basic care, ensuring a respectful and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications include a nursing assistant program and BLS, CPI certification within 90 days of hire; high school diploma or GED required. Prior acute care experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum experience: None; 6-month acute care and/or clinical experience preferred.
• Required licenses/certifications: Nursing assistant program; CPR/BLS certification; CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Required skills: Ability to use computer driven patient care equipment; strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing service personnel with patient care activities and comfort needs.
• Assist with personal hygiene, vital signs, and bed linens.
• Serve meal trays and provide between-meal nourishment; maintain supply cleanliness and readiness.
