Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence Rehabilitation Hospital East, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide basic patient care under nursing supervision, supporting comfort and daily living activities.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a CNA training, CPR/BCLS, and a state CNA certification. Minimum six months in acute or long‑term care preferred. Schedule: 3x12 Nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a nursing assistant training course.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long‑term care setting preferred.
• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• CPR/BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver basic patient care under nursing supervision and assist with daily living activities.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and equipment use.
• Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to bathroom.
• Take and record vitals and intake/output, documenting promptly.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and readiness.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges, handling patient belongings.
• Answer call lights, phones, and pages promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
