Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech to join our team part-time during daytime shifts. You will work under licensed staff to support patient needs and ensure comfort and safety in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, assisting with daily activities, and coordinating with nurses to deliver high-quality outcomes. A valid BLS and hospital experience are expected, with certification preferred for Nursing Assistant or PCT roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assistance with bathing, feeding and activities of daily living.
• Assist licensed clinical staff with treatments, procedures and equipment.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes as needed.
• Support a collaborative care environment focused on patient well-being.
