Job summary

Piedmont Rockdale Hospital is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support licensed staff in delivering compassionate care to patients across the lifespan. Under supervision, you will assist with treatments, comfort measures, and daily activities while adhering to hospital policy.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or GED, BCLS, and CNA or PCT program certification. No prior experience required; multiple shifts available, with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) required on hire
• CNA certification or completion of a Patient Care Technician program preferred

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Tech provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy.
• Under supervision of licensed staff, supports bedside care and assists with activities of daily living to ensure patient comfort and safety

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.

• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred
