Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is hiring a Night shift Patient Care Tech for the ICU. Full-time hours 7p-7a with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

You will support licensed staff, assist with activities of daily living, and contribute to patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced ICU environment. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, hospital experience, and BLS certification; nursing assistant or PCT credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience caring for patients in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certification must be from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assisting with bathing, feeding and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with licensed nursing staff to deliver patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting.
• Assist with treatments, procedures and equipment per hospital policy.

Responsibilities:

The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy.
