Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Tech I for the Oncology 4AB unit on the night shift (36 hours per week). The unit at Weinberg 4AB on the Johns Hopkins Hospital emphasizes compassionate patient- and family-centered care and ongoing education to meet certification standards.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, Maryland CNA certification, at least one year of clinical experience in a relevant setting, and BLS CPR certification.
Weinberg 4AB is a 36-bed inpatient unit that provides medical care to adult oncology patients. Specialized care is provided to patients with solid tumor diagnosis.
Patient Care Technicians at The Johns Hopkins Hospital provide highly skilled and compassionate patient and family-centered care as a contributing member of the health care team. Ongoing education is provided to all Patient Care Technicians to ensure that all techs perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During your first year, you will have the opportunity to attend eight days of training off the unit, which provide interactive learning activities to support your personal and professional development.

Salary Range: Minimum 18.63/hour - Maximum 28.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
