Job summary

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD invites applications for a Part-time Patient Care Technician I, night shift on the Ortho Trauma Surgery unit. The role supports patient and family-centered care as a vital member of the health care team.

New technicians receive eight days of unit-specific training during the first year to advance clinical skills and certification. The unit handles orthopedic, spine, trauma and general surgery cases with a team-based approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Maryland CNA certification required.
• One year of clinical experience in a relevant setting.
• BLS CPR certification required (AHA/Red Cross/Military Training Network accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient and family-centered care as a member of the health care team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic nursing tasks as directed.
• Support the Ortho Trauma Surgery unit's workflow and safety protocols.

Education
