Job summary

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent and completion of one listed technical program or two years of direct patient care experience.
• BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Eligible for certification as MA, PCT, or CNA.
• Enrolment in an approved School of Nursing with first semester completed is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document vital signs and patient data daily.
• Obtain blood samples by venipuncture and perform POCT as directed.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient safety under supervision.
• Maintain patient privacy and infection control in assigned areas.
• Support nursing staff with transport, positioning, and basic wound/skin care.
