Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a nurse aide to provide direct patient care and assist with unit coordination. You will support AC and stable patients with basic nursing tasks, document care, and help maintain a clean, safe environment in collaboration with RNs.

The role requires attention to patient dignity, HIPAA compliance, and effective communication. Training, patient safety protocols, and emergency response are integral parts of daily duties in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 weeks of training may be required.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills needed.
• Basic computer skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide/assist with activities of daily living and basic care.
• Document vital signs and patient information accurately.
• Support patient comfort and safety, maintain privacy.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and unit coordination.
• Participate in rounds and uphold infection control measures.
