Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Health Unit Coordinator at Baylor, Scott & White Medical Center in Waxahachie, TX. This full-time Days position includes 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and a focus on clerical and patient care tasks under nurse supervision.

Qualifications include a HS Diploma/GED and less than 1 year of experience, plus BLS certification (or within 30 days).

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience required.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Collects and records patient data and vital signs for nursing staff.
• Assists patients with daily activities and mobility.
• Maintains unit records, forms and reference documents.
• Greet visitors, answer calls and relay messages to nursing staff.
• Transports supplies and patients and runs errands as directed by nurses.
