Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Patient Care Technician in a Texas hospital setting to provide patient-centered support under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor condition, and help keep the environment safe and organized.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of acute care experience or nursing program enrollment preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• CNA certification or CPCT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff with delegated basic patient care.
• Record and report vital signs and intake/output.
• Support meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Assist with patient positioning and use of mobility aids.
• Collect samples and monitor blood glucose as directed.
• Maintain infection control and PPE procedures.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team.
• Attend to performance improvement and safety initiatives.
