Qualifications

• Deliver patient care and treatment as delegated by an RN or LPN.
• Perform activities including personal hygiene, ambulation, feeding, dressing and transfer assistance.
• Respond to patient calls and anticipate patient needs.
• Ensure patient safety with proper handling, rounds, and equipment checks.
• Record patient data in health records per policy.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned patient care and treatment as delegated by an RN or LPN.
• Performs activities including personal hygiene, bathing, ambulation, transporting, range of motion exercises, dressing/undressing, feeding, changing bandages, elimination needs, and emptying drainage devices.
• Responds to patient calls and anticipates patient needs.
• Assures patient safety and comfort through safe patient handling, regular rounds, equipment maintenance.
• Calculates intake and output and measures vital signs.
